The SCA offers much more than just fighting and archery!  The list of other the arts and sciences we recreate is as numerous as one could ever image (and then some)...

A small list of only a few things we do in the SCA is: calligraphy, illumination, embroidery, brewing, costuming, metal working, leather working, dancing, singing, telling poems, prose and stories, the playing of music, cooking, equestrian, bowing / fletcher, heraldry, and MANY, MANY more.  If you have a talent, hobby or activity (or you are looking for a new one) there is somewhere you can do it in the SCA.

Our Shire has some artisans that produce some of the most beautiful work, and we are not just willing, but happy to teach.  If there is something we know or do, and you want to learn, we will teach you.  If there is something you want to learn that we don't know how to do, we will look to find you a teacher.  We literally have thousands of activities for you to be involved with.
